Annual chimney & vent inspections are recommended by the National Fire Protection Agency. A professional annual inspection provides early detection of problems that could cause fires, carbon monoxide poisoning or structural deterioration. Our certified technicians thoroughly inspect your chimney system looking for anything that can cause your chimney/venting system to be unsafe, such as cracks, gaps, obstructions, and signs of moisture.
NFPA Level 1 inspections are recommended for chimneys that are cleaned and inspected regularly.
According to the Chimney Safety Institute of America, an NFPA Level 1 inspection is appropriate if your system has not changed, and you plan to continue to use your chimney system as-is moving forward.
We recommend an NFPA Level 2 inspection if you’ve never had an inspection or after any changes have been made to your chimney system. Additionally, we recommend a Level 2 inspection if your chimney system has suffered damage from a fire, storm, or fallen tree, etc.
For buying, selling, or inheriting of a home, a Level 2 inspection is required.
